Heaven is not reserved for good people; it is reserved for those who have been forgiven and saved through Jesus Christ. No amount of human goodness can earn eternal life. The Bible teaches that “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23), and that salvation is a gift of God’s grace received through faith in Christ, not a reward for good works (Ephesians 2:8–9). Those who repent, place their trust in Jesus, and receive His forgiveness have the assurance of eternal life (John 3:16; 1 John 5:11–13). Do not rely on your own goodness.
