A pastor who genuinely loves God’s people is more concerned with their spiritual growth than with their applause. His greatest desire is not to be celebrated by people but to see believers firmly rooted in Christ, growing in truth, holiness, and obedience to God’s Word. He understands that ministry is a sacred stewardship, not a platform for personal recognition. Every faithful shepherd lives with the awareness that one day he will stand before God to give an account for every soul entrusted to his care (Hebrews 13:17; James 3:1).
